Clean-up of the polluted groundwater under Barron Park continues. Some areas of Barron Park have polluted ground water in one or more of the first (closest to topsoil level), second and fourth water bearing zones. The areas of Barron Park which have groundwater zones polluted at levels above (greater than) drinking water standards remain about the same as they were 18 months ago, but the quantities (levels) of pollution are decreasing.
