. Annual. In 2004, applications were due on June 1, with the Request for Proposals available on March 30, with a Proposers' Workshop on April 30th, repeated on May 1st.
Regional Water Quality Control Board/District (RWQCB/D):
When there is a violation of watershed rules,
such as a release of pollutants,
the remedy may include the responsible party funding a project.
The local RWQCB/D prefers to have that project conducted in the
same watershed as the incident.
While the RWQCB/D solicits submissions, it is the responsible party
that makes the selection.
Submissions may be educational projects, remediation/restoration
or improvement.
