Although Strawberry Hill itself has been disturbed multiple times by
construction,
there are various colonies of native plants nearby
(along the border with the VA Hospital, the donkey pastures).
Native plant seeds were also sown at the finish of the construction
of the creek bypass (a tunnel under the bike path).
The following have been tentatively identified on the portion of Strawberry Hill
in the area bounded by the various paths.
Brodaiea / Dichelostemma / Tritelia
These are very similar plants that have been split - and occasionally moved - between these three categories by the various "authorities"
