Ken was born and raised in San Francisco, and moved to Barron Park in August of 1991. He has run a software development and management consulting business since 1973, specializing in custom database applications. Ken believes that the qualities that originally attracted him to Barron Park, including the diversity of homes and residents and "virtual rurality" so close to the urban amenities of Palo Alto, should be treasured and preserved. He believes that the challenges of the coming years will need to be solved by combining the values and perspectives of long-term residents with the energy and enthusiasm of the newly-arrived.
Ken can sometimes be found on the lake at Foothills Park paddling a folding sea kayak, searching for a dark site to set up a small telescope for amateur stargazing, trying (so far in vain) to improve what his brothers call the "worst tennis serve on the face of the planet," or prowling the local stores for the latest additions to his book and laser video disc collections. He can be reached at 424-0700, fax: 424-8615, or e-mail to tani_sys@ix.netcom.com.
Welcome, Ken!!
